Identity verification. To prevent fraud and fulfil our hire agreement, we may ask you to verify your identity before equipment is released. This is handled securely by Stripe — your photo ID and a selfie are processed by Stripe and are not stored by us; we receive only a pass/fail result. We may also ask you to upload a recent utility bill, council tax bill or bank statement to confirm your address. Unlike your photo ID, that document is uploaded to us — we store it securely, use it only to check this hire, and delete it once the check is complete. Our lawful bases are performance of our contract with you and our legitimate interest in preventing fraud and protecting our assets. See our privacy policy for details.
