Operator & safety notes
Acrow props are for temporary support only and must be used by competent personnel. Always check props for straightness, damage and secure pins before use. Ensure props bear on adequate sole plates or timber packs on soft ground; for vehicle or machine access, protect surfaces with a Ground Protection Mat to prevent sinking and protect turf and drives. Place props vertically beneath load-bearing points and never exceed the recommended safe working loads for the prop size — when in doubt consult an engineer. Keep hands clear when tightening, wear gloves and eye protection, and never use props to lift or move structural elements.

Operator & Fuel
Petrol machines are supplied full to full — returned with a full tank. We can supply an operator for most machines — ask when placing your enquiry.
Collection
Self-collection from our Wymondham depot is available and will remove the delivery fee from your hire. Please call ahead so we have your machine ready on arrival.

Our minimum hire period is one day. We offer daily, weekly, and long-term monthly rates. Weekly hire offers the best value if you need a machine for a site project.
Most small plant equipment (mini diggers, dumpers, access platforms) requires no special licence. We can supply an experienced operator for larger machines — just ask when you place your enquiry.
We recommend booking as early as you can, particularly in spring and summer when demand peaks. That said, we regularly accommodate last-minute hires — just give us a call and we'll do our best to help.
Call us immediately. We’ll either fix the issue remotely or dispatch a replacement. Machine downtime is rare but when it happens we always respond the same working day.
Yes — just call or email us before your return date and we will extend the hire at the same rate, subject to fleet availability. We are flexible and understand that site projects often run longer than planned.
